It was summer of 1998 when I came to the States and within a year after arriving an opportunity to become the proud owner of Fruiteria Las Palmas surfaced; an old building with fruit, vegetable tables, and a few groceries. Call it "Love at First Sight”, I knew there was a future here for the corner store and I was dedicated to the vision of something more for my family. In 2005, the vision began to see life as the old building was torn down and the new building was built. My Wife and I started to sell our favorite tacos el pastor outside on the parking lot every weekend and what started as our favorite soon became very popular that customers asked for more everyday, until we decided it was time to build an outdoor patio to accommodate. Completing the construction in 2016, along with our new grill, we have established our first Cheles Tacos and Grill.
